Celebrate Brighton’s seafront modernism with this bold Embassy Court art print by Andy Tuohy. Drawing on the clean geometry of interwar poster design, it captures the building’s ocean-liner lines and confident silhouette on King’s Road.
Completed in 1935 to a design by Modernist pioneer Wells Coates, Embassy Court is now Grade II* listed—an icon of British Art Deco/Modernist architecture. Once home to England’s first penthouse suites and conceived as “all-electric” living, it fell into decline in the late 20th century before a resident-led restoration—guided by Conran & Partners—returned it to prominence in the mid-2000s. A landmark of innovation and perseverance, it remains a defining feature of the Brighton skyline.
