FUN FUN FUN (Bis der Papa ihr den Käfer nahm)
Even robots need to unplug themselves and let their hair down from time to time. We can't always be men machines and Kraftwerk are no different. Maybe take a drive up the motorway to the beach to have some fun, fun, fun: enjoy the sun, sea and sand with the model girlfriends you picked up in Berlin's Sound or Big Eden disco's the weekend before; down some beers; play a bit of footie. What's that? Thomas Allofs has just put Fortuna two goal's up? Wunderbar!!
It's a long drive from Düsseldorf, so make sure you've packed a decent picnic. Those beach resort prices are expensive. These boys can never quite switch off, so they make sure they've brought their calculator, rhythm machine and stylophone along for the ride. There's a tune in there somewhere. Hey Wolfgang that's a nice beat, don't forget it, we'll programme the Rhythm-King and lay it down on Monday.
It's the end of the day and maybe, if you are Ralf Hütter, you'd prefer to cycle the last 100km back to Düsseldorf. Not for us, say Wolfgang, Karl and Florian, we'll drive the rest of the way if you don't mind.
