Tin Toys - De La Warr Pavilion January 18 2016

On the Roof Top Foyer of the De La Warr Pavilion there's a small free exhibition of Tin Plate Toys running until the 31st January. Working in partnership with Bexhill Museum, these toys are a selection on loan from the Museum's collection produced between the late 1960s and 1990s.  This time of year is traditionally turnaround time for many galleries and so it is with the two main spaces at dlwp which are being prepared for Tonico Lemos Auad, (Gallery 1), and Steve Farrer, (Gallery 2), respectively, both opening on Saturday 30th January.

But Tin Plate Toys, with it's lovely rockets, robots and mechanical animals was just enough for a space obsessed toddler on a sunny afternoon.
